Description
Country Gold is a Musical Review of Country Songs from the 80’s and the 90’s. This year it will be held on Saturday, May 18th, which is also National Armed Services Day. Proceeds from the show will go to help support the Travis Mills Foundation; a Maine based non-profit foundation. This foundation is dedicated to reintegrating post 9/11 military families to society after the impact of war. The show is written and produced as a live radio show combining a multimedia presentation with advertising during the performance. The cast is comprised of professional band members from the regional area. The event will be held at the Williamson Center in Fairfield, an 850-seat state-of-the-art facility. The performance will be enhanced with sound provided by a professional sound company, Mike Davis Entertainment. 93.5 Cruisin’ Country host, Steve Colella, narrates the show from a constructed radio booth with the musical numbers performed adjacently on stage. Country Gold is produced, written and directed by Josh Hunt. Josh is the lead singer for Borderline Express and is a production company owner. He is the former Advancement Coordinator of Lakewood Theater. This is the 4th production of Country Gold, and each year the event has entertained sold out crowds.
